Viola da Gamba festival in Gerfalco, Tuscany

After a trip through unspoilt landscapes we reach Gerfalco which still boasts some medieval buildings. It is immersed in the vegetation of the Cornate nature reserve.

Since 2011, every August the Viola da Gamba festival has taken place in Gerfalco.
In summer the village becomes a unique artistic venue for musicians and music students, from all over the world. And, thanks to the viola festival, Gerfalco is a member of UNESCO HABITAT III.
