The Winery, Season 1, Episode 1, Terme di Saturnia SPA & Golf Resort in Tuscany, Italy

We are now going along a section of the Via Clodia. This is an ancient Roman road from 200 BC which passes underneath a Roman arch from the third century BC.
This road was once known as the “spa road” for two reasons: the first because it led to various spa resorts and then, according to some, because it stopped right here in Saturnia.
